Schockenhoff,_Andreas-0311Andreas Schockenhoff passed away recently, and AGI mourns a great loss. As a member of the Bundestag, Andreas was a frequent participant in our programs and a deeply committed transatlantic champion. But we also knew him as a loving father. He was always ready to engage wherever he could to strengthen the European project and German-American relations. He will be greatly missed in many places around the world, but most of all in Ravensburg. We send our condolences to his family and will always remember what he contributed to AGI as one of our closest and cherished friends. His legacy lives on.

MdB. Schockenhoff visited AGI in June of 2014 to discuss the outlook of foreign affairs under the German Grand Coalition. A video of this interview is available to view.
