The European and German Agenda After the EU Elections

One month ahead of the European Parliament elections, AGI and the Hanns Seidel Foundation hosted MdB Alexander Radwan for a roundtable discussion on “Finance, Trade, and Brexit: The European and German Agenda After the EU Elections.” Mr. Radwan is one of the CSU’s leading experts on the European Union, the Eurozone, and EU economic policies and provided a pre-election look at the European political and economic landscape.

Alexander Radwan is a directly elected Member of the German Parliament from the Christian Social Union (CSU), the Bavarian sister party of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union. Before entering the German Parliament in 2013 he served as a Member of the European Parliament from 1999-2008 and as a Member of the Bavarian State Parliament from 2008-2013. In the German Parliament Mr. Radwan is a member of the Committees on Finance and Foreign Affairs. He studied law and engineering in Munich.
