At Issue Interview: Dr. Klaus Scharioth

In this latest installment of the AICGS At Issue Interview Series, AICGS President Jack Janes sat down with Dr. Klaus Scharioth, former German Ambassador to the United States and current Director of the Stiftung Mercator Fellowship on International Affairs, to discuss the need for the proposed Transatlantic Free Trade and Investment Agreement being discussed between the U.S. and the EU. According to Dr. Scharioth, the agreement would not only bring increased economic benefits to both sides of the Atlantic that are in need of a boost, it would also provide the ambitious project that has been missing in recent years within the scope of transatlantic relations.
