
Deanna Troust is an expert in strategic approaches for building more inclusive cultures in workplaces and communities. As founder of 3 Stories Communications, she develops research-based inclusion and diversity (I&D) strategies and communications programs for nonprofit, corporate and community-based clients. Ms. Troust learned about cultural humility by working side-by-side with Native leaders, youth of color, LGBTQ advocates, and individuals with behavioral health challenges over her twenty years in social change communications. She helps leaders master the intentional, gracious communications that are critical to I&D success and leads workshops on storytelling and allyship. A native of Orchard Park, NY, and graduate of Cornell University, she also facilitates respectful dialogue among community members and fights disinformation.
